Mercedes featured some changes in the car for the US GP and it looks like the modifications have paid off. For a change, the car showed pace and Lewis Hamilton exploited the conditions with his experience. The Briton raced hard against champion Max Verstappen but sadly could not win the race. Despite that, American singer, songwriter, and 12-time Grammy winner John Legend’s son Miles became a Hamilton fan.

There were arguably two memorable incidents that Lewis Hamilton will take away from COTA. The first being racing Sebastian Vettel for the race lead and the second was finishing P2 after a disappointing season. The car, apart from porpoising issues, lacked the pace to challenge for the top spot.
This weekend was different, though. The newest changes, which mainly focused on the floor and the front wing of the car, paid dividends instantly. Cheering him on was a familiar face in the stands this time. It was John Legend and the kids.
