Every F1 race weekend, all eyes are on the most accomplished driver of the sport whenever he hits the track. Lewis Hamilton, synonymous with raw pace and talent, always aims to be a better version of himself by putting in the hard work, both on and off the track.

When not putting on a show at a Grand Prix, we can find the Brit engaged in activities that get his creative juices flowing. At home, when done playing with Roscoe, he hits the in-house studio. Frequently, on his socials, he has shared a sneak peek into his set-up for creating tunes.

In 2015, the Mercedes driver split up with the Pussycat Doll’s lead singer, Nicole Scherzinger. Following this, he penned down a song for his former partner. He opened up about how he values music and how the songwriting process helps him focus.

He said “My best song is called J’adore. It is kind of urban pop and I sing as well. I write my own stuff. I really enjoy the whole creative thing and I’ve always loved doing it.”

The British driver concluded by admitting that it is a work in progress. “I have played it for Pharrell Williams as well as Timbaland and Drake because I want feedback from as many people as possible”, he commented.

The Briton revealed the reason behind his split-up by saying, “It may be slightly different in that we are travelling as much as we are, and you are just away for crazy amounts of time.”

“In general for athletes, having the right mindset and trying to find the right balance of how dedicated you are as opposed to resting back and enjoying your quality time, it’s different for everyone,” he added.
