Meanwhile, their rivals, Red Bull suffered in Barcelona and also the first two days of the Bahrain testing. But the Milton Keynes base was impressive on the third day with their new upgrades, allowing Verstappen to set the fastest time of the entire 3 day testing. Other than Red Bull, the Italian constructor, Ferrari, was phenomenal throughout both the pre-season testings.

Even Lewis Hamilton expressed that his team isn’t ready to win the first race in Bahrain and instead favored Ferrari to take the highest step on the podium this Sunday. However, the Reds rejected Hamilton’s praises and instead suggested that it’ll be Mercedes that will be the one to win like last season. Last season, Mercedes had poor pre-season testing and then they surprisingly won the first race.
