The three have dominated the world of F1 for nearly 2 decades. In fact, it is insane to think that the 2022 season is the first season in 18 years that does not feature one of these three in the title fight.
2022 is the first time since 2004 that there has been a title fight in F1 that didn't involve one of these guys. They held F1 in a complete chokehold for 18 years. https://t.co/CLTJ3i0q6J

Fans even made the comparison with the big 3 of tennis, labeling them the big 3 of F1.
This era was absolutely insane. They were to F1 what the Big 3 were to tennis. An incredible storm of talent all at the same time. A larger than life struggle for greatness at the pinnacle of motorsport. All 3 are all-time greats. There will never again be anything like it. pic.twitter.com/SAvWIu5Jzp

The only drivers left from the class of 2008 will be Lewis and Fernando in 2023. The only drivers to have known tyres that weren't slick and weren't Pirellis, and knew the days of refueling and the 10-8-6 points system. The last of the lights are going out.

The grid will never be the same without Sebastian Vettel. A hell of a driver, an incredible career. Enjoy retirement Seb! #Vettel pic.twitter.com/GFDRIEdmcA
