Louis-Nicolas, a London-based artist, joined Lewis Hamilton to talk about their love for art. The former is an artist-partner for Ritz Carlton who is Mercedes’ official hotel partner. Both have two things in common. One is their interest in art and the other, the love for Formula 1. Hamilton spoke about why he loved art and how it helped to shape his career.

Lewis Hamilton’s driving skills and his desire to never give up will astonish many around the world. The seven-time world champion sat down with Louis-Nicolas, an artist, to talk about how art was his getaway and why he enjoyed it.

He said, “I’m dyslexic. I struggle like hell in maths. Numbers moving around and getting everything mixed up. But when I get in an art class, you can be free flowing in this. It doesn’t matter how it looks, it only matters how the artist sees it with all just being creative and that’s what I loved about it.”

Hamilton’s struggles to get to the top are widely appreciated. However, it is certainly interesting to hear that he was dyslexic during his younger days. He remains to be an inspiration to the younger generation.

Toto Wolff remains optimistic about Mercedes’ prospects

On the track, Lewis Hamilton and Co have not had the best of starts. Although they are second in the constructors’ championship, the car has struggled for pace. They have capitalized on Red Bull’s issues, but they will look to improve in the upcoming races.

Toto Wolff believes Mercedes has the experience and confidence to pull things back. He said, “The midfield is very, very compressed and we’re just not quick enough, full stop. There are so many areas where we know we can improve, others where we don’t comprehend the car yet.”

“And we just need to concentrate on ourselves and chip away, the performance. The team is still the same, that won many of the championships.”

Lewis Hamilton came into the season determined to win his 8th championship. However, things have not gone according to plan. His Q1 elimination in Jeddah sent shock waves among the F1 fans, and he is already 43 points behind leader Charles Leclerc.
