Lewis Hamilton Delves Deep Into His Breathtaking Sneaker Collection

7-time Formula One world champion Lewis Hamilton is one of the most recognizable athletes around the world. We know the British driver for his on-track achievements as well as his off-track activities. The Mercedes driver likes to keep himself busy on his days off doing skydiving and ‘sneaker shopping’.

He currently has a fashion line with Tommy Hilfiger that is doing very well in the fashion world. But Hamilton mentioned that his first love in the world of fashion was sneakers. The Mercedes driver revealed he has over 100 pairs of sneakers from different brands that have taken up his house.

While doing an interview with complex, Hamilton delved deep into his love for sneakers and mentioned that he would like to introduce his own line soon.

Lewis Hamilton reveals his love for sneakers

The Mercedes driver revealed he did not grow up with a lot of money and only had one pair of shoes for an entire year. He mentioned that from then on; he cared a lot about his shoes and treats them with an immense amount of care.

“When I was younger, you know we didn’t have a lot of money. So I had that one pair for the year, so I was always keeping them fresh. So I couldn’t go and play football on the playground because I wanna scuff up the kicks,” said Hamilton.

Lewis revealed that he has a lot of sneakers currently at his home but is running out of space to keep them. ” I run out of room man, I really need to get a bigger place.”

“Over a few 100, it gets really messy. My whole closet, my bedroom, and my spare bedroom are completely taken up kicks,” revealed the Mercedes driver.
