One such friendship that Lewis has shared is with the fastest man alive, Usain Bolt. The Jamaican superstar has been a long-time supporter of the 7-time world champion on and off the track.

Lewis Hamilton congratulates Usain Bolt on his new album
After hanging his boots at the end of the 2018 World Championships, Bolt has chosen music as his second career after track & field and has recently dropped his album, taking the music world by storm.
The album launch was a big deal, and Lewis Hamilton took to social media to extend his support to his friend. Hamilton posted the cover of Bolt’s album on his Instagram Story and wrote, “Congrats on releasing your album, bro. I know how much it takes to make that step.”

The sprinter has also shown his support to Hamilton on many occasions. He even came to support the Mercedes driver at the 2017 US Grand Prix in Austin. Lewis took the fastest man alive on a hot lap of the track in the Mercedes AMG.

The Mercedes driver sings praises for new teammate George Russell
Mercedes recently announced that they will bring on George Russell in 2022 to partner Lewis Hamilton. Hamilton has welcomed Russell to the team and stated that his inclusion will only be a plus for the team.
“George is coming in to learn from the team, but also he’s got everything to gain. There’s no real negative for him coming in the team. It’s all a plus,” said Hamilton.
“The young talent coming through is so great for the sport and is the future of the sport. New fresh blood in our team is going to be great because obviously, I’m the oldie there.

“That definitely will energize the whole team knowing that they have a new youngster coming through who is super hungry, driven and he pushing the team forwards,” commented Hamilton on Russell’s inclusion.
Russell will replace Bottas at the end of the season. And he will look to challenge Hamilton and go after the title.
