The holder of multiple ‘youngest’ records, Max Verstappen, is now 24 years old! And of course, Twitter celebrated their hero. As Max Verstappen celebrated his birthday, the internet was flooded with well-wishes for the championship protagonist.

Looking back at the records the Red Bull driver holds, it’s amazing how much Verstappen has achieved at such a young age. Max was reputed for being the youngest F1 race driver and point scorer at 17. Further, when he was 18, the driver set the record for youngest podium sitter and youngest race winner.

Unfortunately, Verstappen is a year late to the championship battle; Sebastian Vettel holds the record for youngest world champion at 23 years and 134 days.

Twitter celebrates Verstappen

Now #SuperMaxyDay, Verstappen’s fans went all-out on the social media platform. First, came the normal birthday posts, where fans applauded the Dutchman.

After that came the baby pictures. Are birthday posts ever complete without a major throwback? Twitter brought out some adorable baby pictures of the lion cub.

The heart-warming fan edits captured the impressive F1 journey Max Verstappen has had so far. Now 24 years old, the F1 prodigy started his career at 17 years old. It has been nothing short of a majestic career for the Lion.

How did Max Verstappen celebrate his birthday?

Max Verstappen chose to mix work and play on his birthday. After spending some time with his friends on the waters of Monaco, Verstappen hit the gym! Staying focused on the upcoming Turkish GP, Verstappen went for a quick jog and then worked out.

The Dutch driver still had fun, though, ending his day with some romantic dinner with Kelly Piquet.

As a growing titan of the sport, Verstappen has a long career ahead of him. With so much more in store for him, it’s unlikely that the Super Max chants will die down anytime soon. A growing fan base, an ever-improving time on the tracks; it’s 24 years and many more for Max Verstappen.

As the driver faces the most challenging season of his career, the ever-changing championship lead is currently out of his hands by three points.
