It’s the MET season, and boy, oh boy, who do we have here? It’s Daniel Ricciardo, donning a shining black suit and walking the red carpet, stealing Hollywood’s thunder. No one from F1 thought that Lewis Hamilton’s last year’s walk could be matched equally, but haven’t we all been proven wrong? The Aussie star has made headlines, and to hype him up is none other than his former McLaren teammate Lando Norris.

The Briton currently preparing for the Miami GP is all here for his mate with his hilarious reference to the Met Office of Britain, which oversees the weather development of the country. Guessing his new job as an official, Lando commented “Met office?” on Ricciardo’s picture from the MET Gala captioned, “the MET”. Despite having been in an up-and-down relationship with Ricciardo, Lando recently confessed to missing the honey badger, and this, along with that, just goes on to show the closeness between the two drivers.

For his comment, Lando Norris left the comment section in splits as the fans had banter with the McLaren driver. Plenty of the fans, parenting the 23-year-old, just asked him to go to sleep because he has a race coming up on the weekend, and also, why not? Certainly, no love’s lost between Daniel and Lando despite what appears to be a tumultuous relationship, and fans are all here for it.

Firstly, a few of the fans, in reply to Lando, reminded him to go to sleep. One of them said, “isn’t it like almost 2am in Miami? why are u still awake 😭”, while others went into parent mode saying, “you are way past your bedtime mr.” and “go to sleep lando norris!!!”

Hilariously, Daniel was backed to have become a detective as one fan corrected Lando with “more like Scotland Yard 😂” while one called it, “more of like the met”.

With his comment gathering over 10,000 likes, a reply read, “LETT HIM HAVE HIS SPOTLIGHT 😩😩” Leaving the others in splits, fans replied, “so out of pocket, love it” and “always so funny ! Burst out laughing at this comment in the bus 😂😂😂😂 oops”

Now that Lando Norris is growing his facial hair and seems to have made some progress in the matter, a fan curiously asked, “did you let know Danny that you’re growing facial hair already?”
