Charles Leclerc and Max Verstappen are two of the best drivers in Formula One right now. Both of them are supremely talented and are race winners at the pinnacle of motorsport. They have battled with each other on track and also have thrown some shade towards each other off the track.

They both have been racing against each other since their karting days. There is a popular video of both drivers in which we can see Max showing his anger towards Leclerc.

Ferrari driver reacts to his karting video with Verstappen

In his recent interview with Ziggo Sport, Leclerc hilariously reacted to their karting battle. He mentioned he remembers the incident very well and gave his opinion on the battle.

” I remember it all my life. It was a double right-hander at Val d’Argenton. I look at him & go like this. He was watching me, we touched a little bit, he took the white line that was wet & went straight. And there was a huge puddle… And he ended up in that puddle,” said Charles hilariously on the incident.

Max, on the day, was upset with the driving of the Monegasque driver. He stated,” No, he is just unfair. I’m leading. He wants to pass, and he pushes me and I push him back and after that, he pushes me off the track. It’s not fair.”

Leclerc replied to Max’s comments by mentioning,” Nothing, it’s just an incident on the race.”

In the latest interview, Leclerc had mentioned that earlier in their career, he used to dislike the Dutch driver but said that he would love to have more battles with Hamilton and Verstappen.

“To be honest, I’m not allergic to Hamilton or Verstappen, though. I can deal with both of them just fine. I disliked Max when we were younger and we fought each other in karts or little single-seaters, while Lewis was driving F1 by then. Now they’re just two drivers I’d like to overtake with my own car.” said Leclerc.
