Sebastian Vettel was fuming at Charles Leclerc as the latter made a dangerous move after the race resumed. Bahrain Grand Prix witnessed a dangerous crash as Romain Grosjean crashed into the barriers; the Haas driver came out of the fireball with relatively minor injuries.
After the race resumed, Charles Leclerc dive-bombed Sebastian Vettel and sideswiped him with Sainz on his other side. Sebastian Vettel was very frustrated at the Leclerc’s carelessness and gave an earful to the Monegasque over the radio.
It was a repeat of the Austrian Grand Prix, and Vettel was vehement that Charles can not keep doing it. “We should have crashed, maybe that would have been the better choice,” he grumbled over the radio.

“All morning we talk about leaving space for each other, and then you go into the smallest gap that doesn’t exist and pray that the other sees you and gets out of the way,” said the four-time world champion.
“I was considerate of the other car from us, Charles. But I think he showed no consideration. I was particularly careful with Charles, but he was maybe a bit inconsiderate,” said Vettel.

“But unlike at the Styria Grand Prix, where I did not position myself in a visible position, this time I tried to advance further so that he could see me.”
“But I made sure that he saw me. You can argue that maybe there wasn’t enough spacing between our cars, considering we’re on the same team. But yes … that’s it,” clarified the Monegasque.
Vettel made another statement and stuck to his earlier remarks. He pointed out that it was a surprise move; it was the kind of move that works sometimes, but most of the time it results in a disaster.

Keeping in mind that he’s leaving for Aston Martin next season, this incident might just make the move a bit easier.
