Sebastian Vettel could’ve possibly won the championship in 2017 had it not been for Ferrari mess ups and personal errors. Many suggested that the pressure came from the name Ferrari. Well, it looks like Charles Leclerc is repeating history once again. However, Lawrence Stroll and Co are at it to point out and make Ferrari bleed with pain for the basic errors.

Ferrari’s season went from bad to worse when they realized that a midfield team had overtaken them for the second-best team. Aston Martin came as a surprise package for everyone as they’ve scored podiums in 4 out of the 5 races. While Ferrari was expected to be near the top, they’ve fallen back. The Scuderia is for sure up there when it comes to raw pace, however, the long runs and reliability problems stop them from reaching their full potential.

Mike Krack recently took a jab at the Maranello-based team while highlighting their weakness. The Aston Martin TP explained how Ferrari has always been a quick car, but also came with its own set of problems. He referred to a couple of incidents from this year when Charles Leclerc retired in Bahrain due to engine failure and then crashed in Miami in Q2. Carlos Sainz missed P4 in Australia because of a late penalty. The same was the case last year when Leclerc possibly lost the chance at the championship because of Ferrari’s errors.

According to Formulapassion.it, Mike Krack said, “We must not forget that they have always been fast, from the very first race. But they’ve always had problems. Charles [Leclerc] was in third place in Bahrain when he retired and we benefited. In Jeddah, there was a penalty on the grid. In Australia, there was an accident at Turn 1.”

Ever since Fernando Alonso made a comeback to F1, he has been chasing his third title and has named the plan “El Plan”. While Aston Martin is still far away from Red Bull, Mike Krack suggested that Fernando Alonso could’ve challenged Max Verstappen and won the title had the AMR23 been as good as the RB19. Krack believes it’s all about motivation and Alonso is pumped with it.

According to SoyMotor.com, Mike Krack said, “We would have to go one step further because Red Bull is very strong, but if we give him a car to fight for the title, he can be world champion. It’s about motivation, and it’s intact in Fernando’s case.”
