F1 has grown very popular in the last few years. The sport’s reach has skyrocketed in various countries all around the globe. The United States is one of them and the country might have three races in a single calendar year from next season. The new track is Las Vegas Circuit.

This isn’t just the most popular motorsport in the world, but also the most exciting. Among all places, the United States is the place where F1 has been received very well lately. Mainly a European sport, Formula 1 has now had their second most important market and fanbase in the US.

The United States already has two tracks covering the sport this year. Miami to have their inaugural race in early May, whereas Circuit of the Americas to host the race in late October. Among them, now Las Vegas comes up with another potential venue for F1 from next year.

The talks regarding this are on. Moreover, the F1 hierarchy is in talks about hosting 30 races a year to grow the sport even more. Talking about this, Adam Stern, a motorsport journalist posted on his Twitter, “@F1 is expected to select November as the month to hold its new Las Vegas night race that is close to being announced as starting next year, per sources.”

What’s the scope of F1 in the United States?

The United States has seen a sudden surge of fanbase after Netflix’s Drive to Survive has become popular in the country. The show is in its fourth installment and has helped F1 to grow more popular in the North American country since the majority of Netflix’s consumers are based in the US.

Moreover, the United States of America have their own team in the form of Haas. The Kannapolis-based team has been the only flag-bearer for the country for the last few years. Owned by Gene Haas, the team seems to be a strong mid-field contender this time around.
