Red Bull seems to have maximized their approach with the 2022 regulations. What that means is that they are so far ahead, any gains now will only be minimal. However, on the other spectrum of things lies McLaren. The Woking-based team started their 2023 season on the worst possible note. However, through constant improvement and subliminal R&D, the team has now become contenders at the front of the field, well, barring the Bulls, of course. But that isn’t enough for their star, Lando Norris. He has a distinct set of goals in his mind.
Norris made his F1 debut with McLaren back in 2019. That means, even though the Brit is only 23 years old, in F1 terms, he is a seasoned professional. But what has he gotten to show for it? A splattering of podiums? The British racing ace is still chasing that elusive win. And 5 years on from his debut, he seems to be the closest he’s ever been to making that dream a reality.

With that being said, is Lando Norris going to stick around to see this epic investment come to fruition?

In the recent past, Norris has come out to explicitly reveal that the thought of ditching McLaren has crossed his mind. But with so much being done in the background just for his sake, Norris has a few words to say about his future with the team.
Sky Sports F1 quoted him as saying, “I want to win races with McLaren. I want to win in papaya, I want to win championships. I want to achieve my success and I want to achieve my goals with McLaren. That’s been my target since I’ve come here, since I’ve entered Formula 1 with this team.”
