Lando Norris Unknowingly Triggers Meme Fest Amidst McLaren Sporting Director’s Viral F1 Tweet

Lando Norris is one of the fewest F1 drivers that could leave the fans bursting into laughter, be it through his cheeky replies and comments during interviews, off-track banter with his fellow F1 teammates, or, most importantly, ending up as meme content on social media.

Of course, it has been a while since Norris was trolled on social media. The last time it occurred was during the bizarre 2021 Belgian Grand Prix, where the cameras caught a cozy Norris taking a wild nap inside the McLaren garage amidst the cold rainy conditions.

Well, the wait is over as yet again, Norris has unknowingly turned into a meme subject on Twitter. Only this time, it isn’t a random fan that kick-started this meme fest, rather his own McLaren F1 colleague.

McLaren Racing’s sporting director, Randeep Singh, managed to find an image of Norris posing with “friends from his GCSE class” over Christmas.

He added a caption that read, “Seems like Lando Norris has had a meet-up with the rest of his maths GCSE class over Christmas!”

Randeep Singh tweeted a rather comical image featuring a group of youths uniformly wearing black tees and there was the odd man, Norris, standing amongst them sporting a white tee. And the fans couldn’t resist but take a dig at the Briton.

One of the fans hilariously questioned why Norris was posing with the younger version of Mattia Binotto (Ferrari’s team principal). To add context, that friend did indeed have a minor resemblance to the Italian. There were also one too many fans acknowledging this image to be a reminder that Norris is still in his youth.

Overall, the McLaren Head of Race Strategy has chosen violence against Norris by revealing the priceless picture right before New Year. Hence, will the British racing driver respond to it?
