After months of relative quietness in the world of F1, the colors have started to fill in again. Thanks to all the gossip and content provided by Drive to Survive, which is a perfect warmup/recap before the next season starts. It’s a whole fiesta of our favorite drivers on the grid, for which we wait months every year. And even if you have particular expectations from the show, certainly the clip that we are going to see is going to make it worthwhile for a lot of fans and especially Lando Norris‘s fans.

The McLaren driver, who boasts a following of upwards of 8 million on his social media, “almost pulled off a George Russell,” as many fans put it. Well, what’s “pulling a George Russell”? That’s just a fandom term for drivers going shirtless since the Mercedes driver has been lovingly accused of doing it on several occasions. And Lando, in front of the cameras, went ahead with a t-shirt change and gave the fans a little tease.

In the clip shared by McLaren itself, the driver when prompted, “Geez Lando. Give the people what they want, right?”, calmly and slyly replied “Nipple.”

The thirst trap had certainly sent the fans searching for water, which would hardly help in this case because of the way in which Lando replies. The moment, however, it may appear—natural or staged—has worked its magic and has people skipping episodes looking for it.

Fans go crazy over Lando Norris

The clip sent the fans into a frenzy and down the melting road as they struggled to catch their breath. Lando seriously is now in tough competition up against George Russell in gaining social popularity. And now, whether he wins on the track remains uncertain, but he is certainly winning the race here.

Lando carries great potential on the track and is rightfully believed to be a potential future world champion. But it would be hard to deny that McLaren might have been looking at him as a great driver to build their brand, which would have also contributed to them giving the Briton a long contract.
