Sebastian Vettel blitzed past the entire F1 grid to win the 2021 F1 season’s Grill the Grid edition. Of course, there were several episodes and Vettel battled through to arrive at the finale. That’s when Vettel’s astounding performance emerged that left the entire F1 fandom in awe.

On the other hand, there was hardly any success for Vettel on the track. The German had just jumped boats onto Aston Martin after a horrendous end to his Ferrari campaign.

What’s more, the trophy that he earned from winning Grill the Grid was only his second of the year 2020, with the former coming from a podium finish at Istanbul Park, earlier that season.

What did Lando Norris say?

Norris was absolutely stunned when he heard that Vettel had spelled out every single world champion since the 1950 F1 season. The interviewer told Norris, “Maximum 70 points available. That’s what Vettel did get.”

However, while many expected Norris to laud Vettel’s efforts, he instead reverted to a cheeky taunt. The Brit hilariously reckoned that Vettel should rather focus on racing than pulling off such surprises in off-track contests.

What was the final Grill the Grid task that Sebastian Vettel smashed?

While the initial episodes demanded drivers to spell out the teams and circuits, the finale focused on the drivers. The challenge is that the 2021 grid drivers must start with the 2020 F1 world champion and must go down to the first season’s champion.

If a driver gives out the wrong answer, he will be eliminated from the contest. It was a tough battle between the trio of Vettel, Verstappen, and Russell.

Can Aston Martin fight it out against the FIA to retrieve the P2 for Vettel, and can the German make it three P2 finishes this season?
