Norris is also a big fan of Max Verstappen and respects everything that he has achieved at such a young age. On the other hand, Max also shares a good bond with the McLaren driver. He has tipped Lando to be a future world champion and steal some of his race wins in the future.
Ahead of Max’s home race in Zandvoort, Norris was asked by a journalist if he could win the Dutch Grand Prix. The Bristol boy replied, “No, it’s Max’s. Everyone knows it’s Max’s already. Maybe Max will give it to me, he has plenty.”

Max Verstappen will look to win his home GP again, whereas Lando Norris will be hoping he can improve after a disappointing outing in Belgium. However, he’ll also be wary of the fact that he finished P10 here last season.
Max Verstappen always gives his best, regardless of his car
Max Verstappen states he does not care if his car is good or bad and always gives his best, regardless. In an interview, he talks about how the pressure of winning the Dutch Grand Prix was lifted last year and how it was a “beautiful win”.
He said, “That win was beautiful and it also takes some pressure off of ‘having to win’ the home game. So that has already happened. People expect more from me, of course, but I can’t do anything more than is normally the case.”
He adds, “If I had a lesser car, the public would come to the track with lower expectations. And we ourselves. Now we have another car competing for the wins, so I’m expected to win too. It doesn’t matter much to me. Whether I have a good car or not, I always do my best.”
