McLaren’s Lando Norris is an avid golf lover. The Brit is always keeping himself occupied by a game of golf, whether it is finding time during an F1 Grand Prix weekend or the off-season.
Recently, the 22-year-old shot an amazing drive. Many within the golfing community saw the similarities between his shot and that of pro golfer Bryson DeChambeau. The American is known for his long drives, so fans were quite surprised to see Lando match the ability of a professional golfer.

With the 2021 F1 season done and dusted, drivers are finding all sorts of ways to keep themselves occupied. For Lando, it was going to the golf club and playing a few rounds.
The British driver was at the Emirates Golf Club when he shocked the F1 world as well as the golfing community. Norris shot an amazing drive, and everyone around him was in awe of what they had just witnessed. As soon as he made the shot, he shouted, “Go on!”

People around him were in utter disbelief and gave the McLaren driver a round of applause. Lando himself couldn’t hold back his smile.

McLaren have faith in Norris
The Brit joined the Woking-based outfit back in 2019 and has continued to be a crucial part of the team. His 2021 campaign with McLaren was his best so far in his F1 career; he had four podiums and one pole position under his belt. Norris achieved a sixth-place finish in the drivers’ championship with 160 points to his name.

Additionally, during the course of the 2021 season, the McLaren pilot signed a new multi-year deal with the Woking-based outfit. He will continue to drive alongside Australia’s Daniel Ricciardo for the forthcoming season.
