While Red Bull and Ferrari kept their contention going for being the best teams out there, it was exactly the opposite for McLaren. The team that once gave the title contenders a run for their money has now been reduced to their shadows. This was once again proven after Lando Norris failed to take his MCL60 in Q3 as he crashed out in Q2 in Bahrain. Fans poured in support for Norris while slamming the constructor at the same time for making a “sh*tbox.”
The British F1 driver put in a valiant effort to take his car to Q2 after his teammate Oscar Piastri went out in Q1. However, his Q2 timing was slower than the required mark to send his challenger off to Q3. In the end, Norris and Piastri start Sunday’s race from P11 and P18.

Fans slam McLaren over slow MCL60 as Lando Norris failed to make a mark
As per statistics, McLaren looked heavily off the pace as compared to the other mid-field teams, such as Alpine, Aston Martin, or Haas. If the Woking-based team doesn’t take care of their straight-line speed in the near future, fans believe Norris should leave the team in the future for good.

As things stand, none of the drivers from McLaren starts inside the top ten, and only Norris, who is regarded to be from the elite league, is expected to salvage points from the race unless a miracle takes place.
