Being a WAG in the F1 world is hard, and no one knows it better than Kelly Piquet. The ‘first lady of Formula 1’ has publicly dated current World Champion Max Verstappen ever since 2021. During this time, she has received flak from several frenzied fans against whom she took a stand with her social media. The Brazilian shared an Instagram post where she called out all fake claims against her, without naming anybody. Now, Magui Corceiro, the Portuguese actress and model, who is rumored to be dating Lando Norris, has followed in the footsteps of Kelly Piquet. Cordeiro recently liked the Instagram story of a fan who has called out her critics, thus, silently throwing shade at anyone who trolls her on social media.

Cordeiro is a 21-year-old Portuguese who came under the radar of Lando Norris’ fans for the first time in April 2024. The young pair appeared at the Monte Carlo Masters game in Monaco together, thus sparking rumors of their possible romance. Magui also goes by the name Margarida, and she has previously dated another popular figure in the sports world – Joao Felix. Felix and Corceiro reportedly called it quits last year while Lando Norris broke up with his girlfriend at the time, Luisinha Oliveira.

Even though their alleged relationship has not gone public yet, Magui Corceiro seems to have joined the WAG (Wives and Girlfriends) of the F1 club already. She was spotted last month at a Tag Heuer event in Monaco with Kelly Piquet. The $828 million watchmaker brand is a Red Bull sponsor, and it hosted some of the most famous names at its Monaco party. Piquet even posed with Corceiro at the event and shared their pictures on her Instagram page. This goes to show how the two are friends despite Max Verstappen and Lando Norris’ ongoing fight for the F1 Championship.

Since Norris’ fame has skyrocketed with his repeated podium finishes this year, Cordeiro has been a target of some trolls on social media. Being a friend of Kelly Piquet‘s, the Portuguese seems to have taken some pointers from the Vogue model regarding how to deal with critics. Thus, without naming anyone or without even throwing shade directly, Corceiro silently revealed how she feels about the people dragging her because of her alleged link to Lando. She liked the story of an Instagram user.

In the story, the fan had called out her haters, saying they are ‘bad people’ and are ‘jealous of Magui because she is dating Lando Norris’. By supporting this user, the 21-year-old has somehow also confirmed that rumors of her relationship with Lando are true. As a Formula 1 racer, there is no doubt Lando Norris has several female fans falling head over heels for him. But the Papaya army racer has always remained quite private about his personal life. When he was in a relationship with Luisinha, the couple went public about it on Instagram several months after they had originally gotten together. Now, Norris’ rumored romance with Corceiro might be doing the rounds in F1 town, but he denied it this time as well. In a SkySports video, he simply said “No” to whether he is dating anyone right now.

Interestingly, Lando was on a lie detector test when he denied the dating rumors. And then, the interviewer asked if he was, in fact, dating several girlfriends, and the 24-year-old said “Yes“. Again, the lie detector test did not go off, indicating that the Briton was telling the truth. However, given the frequent appearances that Magui Corceiro has made with him, and the fact that they attended the Japanese GP together last month, it is possible that the lie detector test was actually lying.

Coming to the professional side of Lando, he has a huge challenge before him at his home Grand Prix in Britain. The McLaren prodigy failed to score a single point at the Main Race in Austria last week because of his on-track contact with Max Verstappen.
