So far in the 2021 Formula One season, Lando Norris has been in excellent form. The McLaren driver would have never expected in his wildest dreams to be in third in the championship. Interestingly, he is the only driver on the grid to record points finish in the last 10 races. Since he does not pay much attention to the statistics, this news came as a pleasant surprise for him.
“I did not know that. But it’s nice to be in the top ten so consistently. I hope the series doesn’t end now,” said Norris.
As for the race in Baku, he added, “We can be confident and optimistic that we will be quick, even if I don’t think we should expect anything unexpected. We have a good car, we have proven that. We’re not faster than Mercedes or Red Bull. But we’re trying to achieve a result that is similar to what we did last.”

What else did Lando Norris say?
“We do a lot to enable employees to say what they want to say, which makes the atmosphere in the team much better. I feel a lot better, I’m in a much better position, also mentally. And that goes for the whole team, ”continued Norris.
This weekend, the British youngster makes his second ever visit to the Baku City Circuit. In his maiden race, he finished in a respectable 8th place, behind teammate Carlos Sainz. Now, Norris has been outperforming his current teammate, Daniel Ricciardo. Without a doubt, he will be hoping that it continues, though he would love to see the Australian driver come into his own.
