Are injuries the key to McLaren’s race wins? Looks just like it. Recently, Oscar Piastri shared that he won the Hungarian GP with a broken rib. The Aussie literally smiled through his pain! No doubt such events are risky, but the ultimate result was undoubtedly pleasing. Yet, it remains unknown how ‘Osc’ broke a rib, but remember when Lando Norris injured himself?

The story goes like this: It was between the week-long break between the Chinese GP and the Miami GP earlier this year. Lando Norris was celebrating Koningsdag (King’s Day) in Amsterdam. His good friend and DJ, Martin Garrix, accompanied him. Norris was having so much fun and thrill (the time of his life, really!) that it ended with him injuring his nose. Fans had a ‘facepalm’ moment, wondering if Norris would race in Miami.

Just days after Lando injured his nose, the McLaren star chased P1 in Miami, and the rest is history. Months after his maiden win, Norris shared his ‘scarring’ experience during the fan zone events in Zandvoort. “Kings Day is scarred on me forever, so I’ll forever do Kings Day every year for the rest of my life.” Of course, Norris would keep returning to Amsterdam on Koningsdag to collect his lucky charms to win another race! But will he injure his nose all over again? A mysterious question with no answers yet. Maybe Kings Day 2025 could tell something.

While Lando shared his experience being bandaged in a mummy-esque manner, another question erupted. Guess what? The fans want to know about the 23-year-old’s relationship status. Is Lando truly dating Magui Corceiro? The Brit gave a rather disappointing reply: how much the fans will buy it isn’t questionable. But, let’s find out…

Lando Norris has no time for a pet, let alone a girlfriend

Norris’ summer break was quite interesting. Many fans (read: paparazzi) had claimed to spot him with his alleged girlfriend, Magui Corceiro, during the respite. However, Lando chooses to deny all sorts of rumors. Meanwhile, the McLaren star spent some time with some ‘pawrfectly’ adorable fur friends from Battersea NGO. Moreover, the mystery that envelopes Norris’ relationship status needs some clearance- that’s what fans believe.

So during the fan zone meet at the Dutch Grand Prix, Lando was asked about his experience with the rescue pups. And guess what he said? “I don’t have time for a dog, and if I did I need a girlfriend… but I don’t have one so.”

Did Lando Norris just deny any links with the Portuguese model, Magui Corceiro? Yes. And is this a way of keeping his private life private? Maybe. Norris previously faced the adversities of exposing his personal life before his fans, which led to his breakup with Luisinha Oliviera. So, maybe the F1 driver doesn’t want to risk it all once again.

However, most F1 fans have enjoyed the McLaren No.1’s unfiltered and honest response- typically Lando!

And maybe he doesn’t have a girlfriend for now, but Lando surely does have the hunger to win races. Running right behind Max Verstappen on the driver’s standing, the Briton is desperate to overtake his friend and rival. However, Lando needs to keep a check on his errors, which have been the root cause of all his debacles so far.
