Fans love interacting with their favorite drivers and what better way to do it than an AMA (ask me anything). Recently the McLaren driver, Lando Norris, hosted an AMA with his fans and gave answers to some pretty interesting questions. However, there was one question that particularly caught the fan’s attention.

Lando Norris picks his ultimate F1 driver. And it’s certainly not Charles Leclerc

In a recent clip, Lando Norris can be seen replying to fans’ questions when he answered the question “If you could make the ultimate f1 driver out of 5 drivers combined, who would the 5 drivers be?“. Norris ended up forming a fairly interesting concoction of drivers for his ultimate driver.

The Britton decided to go with only the current drivers on the grid. He went on to name the drivers of his choice, “You’d have Lewis in there, you’d have Max, I love Fernando, a bit of Carlos, and a bit of Yuki.

He further commented on the prospect of having Yuki, “you know Yuki loves a little radio scream. So just for pure entertainment, I put Yuki in there.

However, the Britton was also remorseful about missing out on naming Charles Leclerc as his ultimate driver. Yet, one could say it is a pretty solid ultimate driver that Lando picked out.

Lando’s shaky but fairly decent start to 2022

Norris has not had an ideal start to the season. The season opener in Bahrain saw him and McLaren struggle. He finished in P15. The second race in Jeddah saw him fare a lot better with a solid P7 finish with a little fortune on his side.

The last race in Australia saw him build on his performance in Saudi and secure a great P5 finish. He finished just ahead of teammate Ricciardo, who was in P6. Norris currently sits P8 in the driver standings 4 points behind Esteban Ocon of Alpine.

The next race in Emilia Romagna is in 2 weeks’ time. Lando and McLaren will be hoping to continue this fine form in Italy as well.
