Almost like a beautiful bond between brothers, the two were always looking out for each other. From being concerned for each other after a brutal crash to throwing milk on each other’s face, the duo has seen it all. They very proudly encourage everyone to use “Carlando” and have maintained their friendship despite being in different teams now. Honestly, we kind of miss their McLaren challenges.

A fan compiled reel put together some of their best moments and Lando’s recent interview. When asked about his best friend on the grid in Formula 1, Lando replied, “The thing is I grew up with George and Alex. You know we did formula 2 together.”

“I’m very good friends with Max, I kind of grew up with him as well. I’m good friends with then also Carlos right? Carlos was my first teammate in Formula 1. Our great combination of drivers that Carlando team.”

“And I won’t stop until I beat Carlos. As soon as I beat him, I’ll stop”

Seems like that could take some time! Both the drivers are doing very well on the grid and have been pushing it to the limits.

Norris had a wonderful season with McLaren last year as he often outpaced Daniel Ricciardo and eventually finished P6 in the Drivers’ championship. On the other hand, thanks to his consistency, Carlos managed to finish P5 after the 2 Mercedes and 2 Red Bulls.

Coming to the present, it is still a little early to predict if these 2 can end up right against one another in the championship or not. While Sainz has a championship-winning car, Lando is still seen struggling to get the most out of his Papaya car. After the exciting Australian GP, fans can’t wait to see how these 2 will fare in the rest of the season.
