The dynamic between the new generation of F1 drivers and the team bosses has changed a lot in the last decade. The difference is visible if you notice Lewis Hamilton and Toto Wolff talking about or to each other, whereas when it comes to Lando Norris and Zak Brown, it seems like they are childhood buddies. And now, the Miami GP winner takes a cheeky jab at his boss, who takes part in the Monaco Historique.

Calling Lando Norris a menace might be an understatement considering all the things he did in the name of fun. breaking Max Verstappen’s winner trophy as he popped the champagne on the podium to get a cut on his nose while partying in Amsterdam just days before the Miami GP. Norris has had his fair share of menacing moments.

And now he has decided to take on Zak Brown. There have previously been some cheeky moments between Norris and Brown. Recall when the Brit made fun of and copied Zak Brown’s American accent as he reacted to Sainz’s farewell video. Yeah, that, and also the fact that, as promised to Norris, the McLaren CEO will have to get a tattoo of the Miami Circuit after the win.

A post shared by Zak Brown (@zbrownceo)

Zak Brown recently revealed that he will be taking part in the Monaco Historique Grand Prix, an event that celebrates and remembers former F1 cars and drivers. The McLaren CEO drove Alan Jones’ championship-winning Williams, the FW07B from 1980, throughout the weekend. Brown just uploaded a video from his onboard experience of taking the car around the Monaco Circuit, and Lando Norris was quick to comment on it.

Zak Brown’s post’s caption read, “I grew up in California watching the #MonacoGP on TV. It seemed a million miles away back then, and it was just a dream. Fast-forward to today; it’s an immense privilege to drive this iconic circuit again, this time in Alan Jones’ 1980 championship-winning Williams FW07B.” However, Norris didn’t seem interested in Brown’s story and took a jab at how the car wasn’t visible on the onboard video that was uploaded because of Zak Brown’s massive head, as he commented, “Get your head out the way.”

However, Zak Brown wasn’t the only one from the world of F1 who attended the event. Let’s see who all joined the McLaren CEO for the weekend in Monaco.

Adrian Newey drives the championship-winning car as Fernando Alonso advises Zak Brown

The newly announced Red Bull exit seems to have given Adrian Newey some new wings of freedom. He, however, decided to cut those wings and use F1 machinery to get the ultimate freedom. The mastermind drove the championship-winning Lotus 49B designed by the legendary Colin Chapman. The car won two championships in the late 1960s.

On the other hand, Zak Brown had Fernando Alonso visit him. And it seems like the former McLaren driver had a special message for the CEO, as Brown wrote on his Instagram, “Got some tips from a guy that says he won in a McLaren in 2007 @fernandoalo_oficial”. The banter in this F1 world just doesn’t seem to end.
