Lando Norris’ Influence Pays Off as Daniel Ricciardo Splashes Almost $6K to Impress 509k Followers

Daniel Ricciardo is one of the most loved personalities in Formula 1. Known for his mouthful of a smile, Ricciardo has always been a fan favorite. The man with wit, late-breaking, and love for Texas is also quite renowned for his passion for photography. As Ricciardo is quite an expert in this, as his 509k followers will say, the camera he uses will blow anyone’s mind.

As seen in Vincenzo Landino’s video from 2020, Ricciardo uses the Leica Q2 camera for his photography. Regarded as one of the best travel cameras ever built, Landino reviewed the gadget with Blake Guidry two years back.

Ricciardo has great hands in photography and there’s no doubt about it. The Australian even has a photography page on Instagram with daniel3.jpg as its username. The Honey Badger uses the account to share the images he takes daily after he picked up the habit from teammate Lando Norris.

Lando Norris revealed a weird hobby he picked with Daniel Ricciardo

Daniel Ricciardo and Lando Norris raced together in McLaren for two years after the Australian replaced Ferrari-bound Carlos Sainz in 2021. The duo always shared an amicable relationship on and off the track, helping and teaching each other for the better.

As the driver duo spent two years on the team, they picked each other’s habits. One such habit, or to be exact, the hobby, was photography, which the Briton picked up with the Australian. Talking about this, Norris Briton conveyed, “You get to know each other very well, and it’s the guy I worked so closely with, and have done for the past few years.”

“So I guess you build a bit of a connection, that you’ll miss the guy because we have become, I think, good friends. We’ve taken up photography together, which is weird!” concluded the Quadrant founder. Moreover, Norris also has an Instagram page named Lando.jpg which has over 625k followers.

McLaren decided to part ways with Daniel Ricciardo after two bitter-sweet years. The Woking-based team replaced the Honey Badger with his compatriot for the 2023 season. As for Ricciardo, he rejoined Red Bull as their reserve driver.
