It’s only fair that Lando Norris celebrates his win and that we got to see him do it in Miami after his maiden victory. The McLaren driver took his first win after 110 starts, and after all the hard work from him and the team, they achieved their second win in over a decade. The multiple-world champion team is getting back on track, and Zak Brown has faith in Norris to continue the winning spree.
Now, when it comes to celebrating a big win like Miami, a night out in the city is just not enough. After his first win, Norris drove to the MTC in his limited edition McLaren 765 LT with the trophy in his hand and a smile on his face. Once the celebrations with the team were done, it was time for some personal ‘me’ time for Norris, as he had been spotted doing so in yet another exquisite car.

F1 drivers love cars. It’s pretty obvious! That’s kind of the whole point too, right? So it’s not surprising to see Lando Norris drive around a limited-edition Porsche 904 Carrera GTS in his home city of Monaco. Following the Miami GP week, the race winner has been spotted around the streets of Monaco in a car that screams class.
The Porsche 904 Carrera GTS is a $2.5 million classic car that had a limited run from 1963 to 1965. It’s difficult to put a price on such a rare piece of engineering, but it was recently sold for $2,535,000 at the Porsche 75th Anniversary Auction. Considering this, it’s hard to not catch the attention of car enthusiasts who know a gem when they spot one.
There have been a few posts on X with clips of Lando Norris driving around the iconic city in a Porsche that is a treat to see on the streets. Although it’s not clear if the McLaren race winner has purchased the car or is just taking it for a spin, it’s safe to say that he is celebrating his win in style.

Being the second McLaren driver to win a race in over a decade, it’s only fair that, as soon as the race was over, Daniel Ricciardo came to congratulate his former teammate. But a certain detail about the relationship between the two surfaced in a quickfire round with Ricciardo.
Lando Norris is Daniel Ricciardo’s best F1 friend
When Daniel Ricciardo joined McLaren, there was quite a bit of friction between the two teammates. While there was no reason for them to not get along, the competition of being the better driver got to them. Things were heated when they were competing, and when Ricciardo won the 2021 Italian Grand Prix, Norris got more restless for his win.

Although it took time, Norris is now a GP winner too, and behind the scenes, his relationship with Ricciardo has improved. During a quickfire round with the VCARB driver, the Australian was asked about who his best friend inside the paddock was. To this, Ricciardo replied that it was his manager, Blake Friend.
Opening up on his friendship with Norris, he said, “Lando is one where, like, our first year at McLaren, it definitely took us a little bit of time to probably get to know each other and warm to each other a bit. It’s probably no secret that it took us a little bit to become, let’s say, mates.” After stating this, Ricciardo talks about the time that Lando Norris came down to Perth to spend time with his former teammate.

Ricciardo explained, “But Lando visited Perth and came out to my farm in January. He was traveling a bit, and he was like, ‘Can I come and visit for a few days?’ I was like, ‘Sure’. It’s kind of nice just hanging out with him. To be honest, other drivers, getting a chance to hang out with them outside the track, outside this environment, it’s kind of fun, because we don’t often get a chance to do it.”
