Lando Norris has been a vocal proponent of mental health. He uses his popularity to always send out a message against activities like social media bullying, which he has been a first-hand victim of. He once said, “What I find the funniest in a way is people are actually spending their one life on Earth just sat behind a computer trying to ruin and bully someone.” However, despite his efforts, his charitable act has now surprisingly invited hate. Seeing this, Max Fretwell, who is a Team Quadrant member and Lando Norris’ friend, called people out.

In the history of Formula 1, only three races have ever been canceled due to harsh weather conditions and one of them is the Imola GP, which would have taken place today. The unfortunate floods in Northern Italy claimed many lives, jeopardized even more, and things took a turn for the worse. And everybody took it upon themselves to make an effort to do something about it. From Ferrari donating a magnanimous amount, to Yuki Tsunoda himself going to work for relief. However, when Lando tried to do his bit, he was subjected to internet trolling.

Seeing that Norris was called out for his noble efforts, Max Fretwell, who is also a member of Team Quadrant, lashed out at the Twitter crowd. He said, “I don’t like to bring up drama–but I saw some bullshit on Twitter. People moaning about Lando yesterday and what he was doing but I mean how stupid do you have to be, he is doing something good—He is not making any profit. He is on a loss!! and doing it for a good cause. And he donating thousands, right? And there are people who have the audacity to like to moan about it.”

He added, “That is why I just hate Twitter. It is so toxic and full of very stupid people—He was probably losing 100 pounds plus every time. There was zero profit, but I can guarantee and say that there was no profit there so that’s just *****—The guy can’t win, man.—Imagine hating on someone for donating and trying to do something good.” And fans sided with Fretwell.

Fans hail Max Fretwell for taking a stand for Lando Norris

Lando Norris, who is a very regular Twitch streamer, decided to stream and came up with an innovative way of raising funds. The man previously shaved his head in order to raise money during the covid tomes, but this time came up with another scheme. He stated that he will donate 1K for every 250 subscribers he gets. But as he got hate for secretly making profits out of the miseries, fans also united to appreciate.
