Although Lando Norris started at P4, he managed to overtake the pole-sitting Max Verstappen in Miami. The race was phenomenal with McLaren showcasing the upgrades that made Norris a GP winner. This was a huge moment for the driver as this was his maiden F1 victory since he joined the team in 2019. Now that he has won his first race, how did he celebrate?
After the race, Norris was advised by Lewis Hamilton to not leave for his home country to enjoy the moment he will never get again; and Norris complied. He decided to stay back with his close friend and P2 in the Miami race, Max Verstappen, for a night out in Miami that he will never forget. But if you thought that was the end of the celebrations, you would be very wrong.

After winning the race and enjoying the party, it was time to get back to work and for that, Lando Norris had to head to the McLaren Technology Centre. However, this being the first time he is visiting the facility as a Grand Prix winner, he had to do things in style, and for that, he whipped out his McLaren 765LT.

The British driver drove into the facility with music playing in the background and as he got out of the car, he carried along his trophy with him. Many members of the McLaren family had to watch the race from back home as not everyone gets to be at the circuits. To celebrate with them, Norris brought the party to the MTC and he did so with style.
Although the race win news is still fresh, the car is not brand new as McLaren Automotive delivered his prized possession to him on May 15, 2023. However, making sure that he remembers this moment forever, he went to see the rest of the team in one of the best-limited edition cars made by the manufacturer.

Since Lando Norris has been driving for McLaren since 2019, the team decided to treat him with one of the models of the 765LT Spider. Although the car is currently valued at $490,810, it was a gift from the team to the driver.
What makes this special is its carbon blue color and oddly its left-hand-drive configuration. Why would the Briton go for a left-hand drive, you may wonder? It’s because he no longer lives in the UK and the norm for Monaco is a left-hand drive.

Some custom additions to Norris’ car include bright yellow brake calipers as a tribute to his helmet, and the four stripes represent his race number. Besides that, the driver’s initials LN are embroidered on the headrests too. To make the car more exclusive, it has a one-of-a-kind plaque that reads, ‘exclusively commissioned for Lando Norris by MSO’.
Aside from that Norris also has a Lamborgini Muira which is deemed the ‘world’s first supercar’. With that said, did you enjoy the Miami Grand Prix and expected Norris to win? Let us know your thoughts in the comments below.
