Outside the world of F1, Lando Norris is a pro gamer. Just like motorsport, PC gaming requires the utmost focus and skills. Norris doesn’t lack either of these, hence he has expanded his empire into the world of digital gaming. This trait of Lando got him the name ‘iPad kid’ of F1,’ which simply means the McLaren driver is a Gen-Z, spending his spare time playing games online on his iPad (in this case, on his PC).

Norris’ love for gaming has led to the creation of Quadrant. The Brit is the founder and CEO of the e-sport brand. They have extended beyond gaming and also produce apparel. The core team includes- WRC prodigy, Oliver Solberg, MotoCross’ Lotte van Drunen, Moto 3 rider Ivan Ortola, and Skateboarding phenomenon Keegan Palmer. And among the squad, Ivan Ortola has hit the headlines.

Lando attended last year’s Moto3 race in support of Ivan Ortola, who later became part of his quadrant athletes team. This year, Ivan won and Lando posted a story congratulating him on his victory. The McLaren No.1 took to his Instagram Story to share a picture of Orotola with the trophy in his hand. His caption read: “Congrats brother. What a race.”

Ortola, who races for MT Helmets- MSi, capitalized his pole into a win at Silverstone. However, his win wasn’t easy, as he had to wait till the last lap to turn his fortune. Nevertheless, he gave himself the perfect birthday present. Lando is particularly happy for the 20-year-old motorcycle racing prodigy. Moreover, Quadrant’s added support always comes in handy for the Moto3 racer.

Meanwhile, Lando Norris’  brand continues to flourish. It’s amazing how the McLaren driver is managing both F1 and his side quest. Quite a multi-tasker!

While Quadrant flourishes, the core team’s main career remains on the track. Surely, Ivan Ortola’s Moto3 win could motivate Lando to push himself in F1, so that he comes closer to his second win this season. As the summer break continues, motorsport fans would love to see more content from the Quadrant squad. The return of gamer Lando Norris is highly anticipated.
