Lance Stroll has recently opened up about Sebastian Vettel. The Canadian has talked about his teammate at Aston Martin. While doing so, Stroll emphasized the brilliance of his teammate, Sebastian Vettel.

Sebastian Vettel is a four-time F1 world champion. The German who dominated the sport from 2010 to 2013 is a mere shadow of himself now. However, that didn’t stop Lance from praising his teammate for his sheer brilliance.

Talking about their bonding, the 23-year-old driver has conveyed, “We’re always learning from each other. In one corner he might be better than me, in another, I might be better than him. I think we push each other. He’s an incredibly talented rider, a four-time world champion who has a lot of experience. It’s just great to work with him.”

What does Sebastian Vettel bring into Aston Martin F1 team?

2022 will be Sebastian‘s second season in Aston Martin (former Racing Point). The German joined his current team coming from Ferrari in 2021 and has replaced outgoing Sergio Perez. Vettel’s inclusion has given his team a much-needed impetus, a much-needed boost.

The presence of such a popular figure in the Aston Martin paddock is certainly very welcoming for the Aston Martin crew. Known for his wit and humor, the 34-year-old tasted the pinnacle of success at Red Bull just before the Hybrid era.

As of last year, the German has finished at P12 in the driver’s standings. He picked up a decent 43 points in his first outing with the outfit. Lance Stroll was just behind him with 34 points and he finished at P13. It’ll be interesting to see how the pair forms up to perform in the upcoming season.

Aston Martin has recently launched their new challenger named AMR-22 for the 2022 season. The car launch had both Sebastian Vettel and Lance Stroll present during the presentation. The team from Britain seemed confident about their push towards the mid-table section of the lot. Aston Martin finished in P7 in Constructor’s Championship last year. The team, however, is hopeful for a mid-table fight in the season to come.
