He appeared on the podium at Monza after a bizarre Italian Grand Prix. Moreover, he has been consistently scoring points for the team.
Recently, a picture from Stroll’s childhood surfaced on the internet. It has a young Lance Stroll with Felipe Massa and Fernando Alonso. A channel named ‘In The Pink’ released an exclusive podcast with Lance Stroll discussing this particular picture amidst other things.

Lance Stroll wanted to race against Fernando Alonso since his childhood
The host encourages Stroll to recall the time when the picture was taken and what was the discussion that followed. Lance disclosed that in that moment, he told Alonso, “I’m gonna race against you one day, I’ll be your teammate one day.”
The host, Natalie Pinkham, and Lance Stroll had a hearty laugh over little Stroll’s ambition. He recalls Alonso’s reaction saying, “He didn’t take me too seriously back then when I said that”.

However, as Fernando Alonso returns to Renault next season, he will definitely keep an eye out for Lance Stroll.
Fernando Alonso has been a role model for several drivers like Stroll. The 2-time World Champion is a beacon of light for generations to come, and Stroll definitely idolizes him.
“For sure. I mean he is one of the sport’s biggest legends.”

On being further questioned about his dream coming true, Lance replied in a manner unexpected from his age. When the host complimented Stroll on fulfilling his dream, he replied, “I’m not someone who really stops and smells on the roads too often. My eyes are always on just what’s next, the future. But every now and then, it feels good to look back and reflect on the journey.”
