Former AlphaTauri driver, Daniil Kvyat, is known to be a boxing fanatic. There are endless videos and photos of him perfecting his craft. However, instead of going to a boxing match amongst the big names, he would prefer to see a fight between Esteban Ocon and Fernando Alonso.
Kvyat feels that Ocon would have an advantage over the two-time world champion. But he still feels that Alonso shouldn’t be crossed either.

In a video posted on Alpine’s Twitter account, Kvyat said, “I would pay to watch Esteban boxing Fernando, to be honest.
“It could be interesting, I mean Esteban is very tall, very good reach. So I am sure, he would try to keep Fernando outside his reach, and Fernando would need to fight like Mike Tyson, you know, side to side create angle, come close to Esteban, hit him with upper cuts, hooks. Could be an interesting fight, to be honest.”
No, *you* put @kvyatofficial on the spot by asking him who would win if @OconEsteban and @alo_oficial took up boxing. 😅#RussianGP pic.twitter.com/IanUtNQ1Wc

“My money… Fernando looks a little bit more robust. Maybe my money would be on Fernando, I don’t know,” Kvyat concluded.

The Enstone-based team did struggle at the start of the 2021 season but soon achieved their best result yet. At the Hungarian Grand Prix, Ocon took the checkered flag, while Alonso finished fourth.
As it stands, the French team currently find themselves in fifth place in the constructors’ standings with 103 points. With a few more races to go this season, Ocon and Alonso would hope to bring better results for the team, gain a few places in the standings.
