Going into Qualifying on Saturday, Charles Leclerc carried a big advantage. That advantage was Ferrari’s proven prowess in slow corners, which was supposed to come in handy in Monaco. However, the Monegasque came nowhere near challenging Max Verstappen for the pole position. He finished in P3, but his day was about to get worse. The FIA gave him a 3-place grid penalty for impeding Lando Norris. The Briton has now taken a dig at Leclerc with an epic meme that has left fans hailing him for his savagery.

During Q3, Leclerc was in the tunnel when Norris, who was on a flying lap, came from behind. Owing to the limited visibility in the tunnel, the Monegasque was unable to get out of the racing line in time and Norris had to slam the brakes. The FIA later called both drivers where even Lando supported the Ferrari driver, citing the visibility issue. Nevertheless, the ruling body sanctioned him because the team did not inform him in time to get out of the way.

FIA’s decision came a few minutes after the completion of qualifying. Later, F1 shared the footage from Lando’s onboard, showing why the Ferrari driver was found in violation. It was all well and good until Lando replied to the post.

In the comment, he shared Charles’ meme from his karting days where he had a crash with Verstappen, and later when a media person asked him what had happened, simply replied, “Nothing. Just an Inchident.” The video clip became famous and turned into a meme after Charles got all the fame from F1 and his feeder series exploits.
