The Red Bull boss, Christian Horner, is married to Geri Horner (nee Halliwell) who is an ex-Spice girl. Ginger Spice is all set to spice things up with her ex crew. If we believe the grapevine and join the dots, trusting the statements made by Geri’s fellow Spice girls, then we may see the British girl group comeback with all the five members. They will reunite to perform at the coronation of King Charles III.

Spice Girls coming together is set to happen after the controversial rendezvous of the girls with the then Prince Charles. The controversy had erupted when Ginger Spice and Scary Spice had kissed the Prince. The last time they performed together was at the London Olympic closing ceremony in 2012. Though the group dismantled in the 2000s, they have been called upon to fulfill patriotic and royal commitments.

According to The Sun, an insider revealed, “Royal organizers are super keen to secure Britain’s biggest girl band and the Spice Girls are seriously pondering a return to the stage as a five piece for such a historical event.”

The said reunion is for the service to the country, the source added, “Certainly the reality is that the Coronation is as special as The Olympics, a one off celebration and unique performance.”

We may attribute the coming together of the girl gang to Mel C and Mel B, who were pushing the girls to unite after a decade. Things have not always been rosy between the girls, but the sound of them coming together does send happy shockwaves across the pop lovers all over.

The band regrets not being able to play the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee concert. Mel C said, “With us girls, there is so much that we would like to do, but…with families and other commitments and responsibilities. So, I think that was something that we had to miss.”

To add to that, Mel B hinted at an upcoming project involving all five original members, saying: “It is a project that we’re very excited about. It will be all five of us.”
