Lewis Hamilton and Kimi Raikkonen are among the most recognizable F1 drivers of this century. Both drivers battled it out for the championship in the 2007 and 2008 seasons, with each winning the title once. They were very fair whenever they raced wheel to wheel on the track.

Nevertheless, there have been a few incidents between them that might have caused some bad blood. One such incident was at the 2018 British Grand Prix when the 2007 champion clipped the home hero. The collision sent Hamilton to the back of the grid, but he eventually managed to finish P2 ahead of Raikkonen in the race.

But the Mercedes driver was not one bit pleased about the contact and accused the Finnish driver of shady tactics. “Interesting tactics from their side. It’s now two races Ferraris have taken out one of the Mercedes,” said Hamilton.

His comments did not sit well with Raikkonen’s wife, Minttu. She took to social media to have a subtle dig at the British driver. “If you cry like a girl when you lose, do ballet,” wrote Minttu on her social media.

Later on, Hamilton admitted his comments were not correct, and he accepted the Finnish driver’s apology.

“Kimi said sorry and I accept it and we move on. It was a racing incident and nothing more. Sometimes we say dumb sh*t and we learn from it,” clarified the 7-time world champion.

Hamilton was rightly upset, as he believed that he could have won the British Grand Prix in front of his fans. But it was a nice thing that it was the last time the duo had a collision on the track.
