Statistically, in his best season in Formula 1 till now, Max Verstappen absolutely ruled 2022. With 15 race wins, the Dutchman absolutely smashed the previous record (13) held by Sebastian Vettel and Michael Schumacher and made one that might not be broken anytime soon. Such an excellent form has already made Verstappen a favorite to retain his crown yet again. Haas driver Kevin Magnussen also believes the Dutchman is definitely the favorite for the upcoming 2023 season. However, when asked about it, the Dane communicated his opinion in a hilarious manner.
The 30-year-old Danish driver is a seasoned Formula 1 pilot with 8 years of experience under his belt. That’s more than a lot of drives can say for themselves on the grid. With him being one of the seniors on the grid, Sky Sports F1 decided to get Magnussen’s opinion on the 2023 championship. However, before revealing his opinion, the Haas driver made a hilarious comment.
When asked, “Will Max remain champion?” Magnussen hilariously replied, “I’m not the right person to ask. I don’t watch any of the races.”

Verstappen has earned a lot of respect from his fellow drivers after his dominating performance in the 2022 season. Although respect is reciprocated and Verstappen did exactly that after the Brazilian GP qualifying.
