It was a dream start for Kevin Magnussen as he has returned to his old team Haas for the 2022 season. The Danish international has actually proven his worth in Bahrain. Kevin Magnussen’s Haas has finished ahead of Valtteri Bottas’s Alfa Romeo, the two McLarens, and Fernando Alonso’s Alpine. Through this, the fans not only got to see the Magnussen brilliance, but they also got a glimpse of the potential that Haas currently has in 2022.
Talking about Haas’s performance, Magnussen conveyed, “I mean, we were the strongest car in the midfield, I could actually see the Mercedes almost the whole race. I know we got a safety car there at the end, so that helped a little on that, but it was just a different story to in the past.”

After having some rough times ahead of the Bahrain GP, Haas has finally made amends. The Kannapolis-based team has outshined most of the mid-field teams both in the race and in the qualifying. The American outfit was right behind Mercedes almost the whole week as Kevin qualified ahead of George Russell and behind Lewis Hamilton on Saturday.
Haas has performed brilliantly this week. In fact, the Bahrain Grand Prix gave them more points than their last two years of racing combined. Haas managed to pick up 3 points in 2020 and 0 points in 2021.
