AlphaTauri’s 2023 season was less than impressive with mid-season driver changes that led them to finish 8th. This has many fans of the sister team of Red Bull Racing, disappointed. After the 2023 season, the team made some massive changes, not only to how the team works but also to its identity.
The former AlphaTauri Formula 1 team is now officially known as Visa Cash App RB. The team is also using the VCARB acronym, which might be the type of designation for the RB chassis, though a final decision is yet to be made.
Visa is the first global sponsor for both Red Bull-owned teams, including the main Red Bull team and the newly rebranded Visa Cash App RB. The Visa logo will be featured on the RB20 cars driven by Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez, as well as on the F1 Academy entries for both teams. However, when the team made a complete change in its name, many fans were aggravated.
