Rogan was accompanied by American comedian, Andrew Schulz, during The Joe Rogan Experience podcast, and that was when he put forward his doubts. Seeing the super-fast nature of the sport and the caliber of the drivers, the 55-year-old exclaimed, “This is wild sh*t, man! You have to be wild!”
Then the UFC color commentator went on to ask Schulz as they looked at the GT vs F1 car comparison, “What do you think these guys are on? You think they’re taking amphetamines? adderall?” as he jokingly hovered doubts on Lewis Hamilton and his colleagues’ natural abilities.
Amphetamines and Adderalls were the names of two drugs Rogan spoke about. Notably, amphetamines are used as a stimulant, as this drug drives the message from the brain to the body faster. As a result, the user is relatively more alert and physically active. Whereas Adderall drug is used to improve focus and reduce impulsivity.
Joe Rogan called Formula 1 drivers “psychos”
The UFC hotshot Joe Rogan once called the Formula 1 drivers “psychos.” No, not in the way one would expect. The driver’s crazy choice of day job compelled the former television presenter and an Ayrton Senna fan to use this term.

It was Schulz who first initiated the F1 conversation with, “I got really into that F1 during the pandemic. I watched Drive to Survive. The culture behind it like they’re all f***ing kids, they’re all so competitive.”
Soon after this, the UFC personality went on to say, “They’re psychos, yeah, they’re psychos!”
Psychos or not, Formula 1 drivers are surely very talented and undoubtedly the best drivers on the planet.
