As NASCAR is looking to broaden its horizons in its 75th year, so is former F1 champion Jenson Button. The Briton is ready to take part in 24-hour Le Mans with the NASCAR team Garage 56. However, before that happens, it looks like Button and his teammate Jimmie Johnson are engaging in a bit of friendly banter. Sportscar racer Jordan Taylor, who is helping the team prepare for the event, put out a hilarious video online mocking Jenson. However, the former F1 man has clapped back with an equally hilarious response.

Taylor posted a video of a skit that he performed asking Button some questions. However, it wasn’t actually him answering the questions, but some snippets from his older interviews that made up for some funny replies. Toward the end of the video, we saw Button’s face deepfaked onto Jennifer Garner’s body, performing the epic ‘Dirty Dancing’ sequence with Jimmie Johnson as Patrick Swayze. The video posted on Instagram got a good laugh out of former and current NASCAR drivers, including Dale Earnhardt Jr., Jeff Gordon, Bubba Wallace, and Johnson himself.

Now the Briton has reacted to it on Twitter with the reply, “I’m sooo beautiful [laughing emoji].”

While the former F1 champion is ready to try his hand out in Le Mans, he is still undecided about racing on the oval tracks.

Jenson Button gives a cryptic reply to the NASCAR question

In a recent interview, Jimmie Johnson talked about trying to talk Button into joining his team on NASCAR. JJ feels if the right opportunity presented itself, Jenson might just grab it, but it will take some effort to convince him to take to the oval tracks. That is exactly what is bothering the Brit.

GP Fans quoted him as saying, “Ovals for me is something where I really respect what the guys do, because it’s far beyond anything I’ve experienced. Always racing with a little bit of yaw all the way through the corner, racing that close to each other and so close to the wall is a skill I don’t have, I don’t think.”

When asked whether he will try his hand out at it, he replied, “We’ll see. That’s an option. Obviously, the car is a little bit different to what we’ll be racing at Le Mans. Less down force, heavier, less power and all of that. It’s probably tricky, but I would jump at the chance if I had the opportunity.”
