As the Japanese GP comes to an end there is an overwhelming feeling taking over Lewis Hamilton. The overwhelming feeling of not being able to fight for his ultimate goal one more time, at least not with Mercedes. The Brit, for almost more than a year, complained about bringing substantial changes to the troubled challenger. Even after Toto Wolff and Co. gave in and resigned the car, there were still areas in which the car was lacking.
Even after several weeks, this scenario has remained the same whereas other teams have leapfrogged Mercedes in terms of race pace. The Japanese GP highlighted this scenario which made Hamilton make a gloomy admission and put the LH army on Toto Wolff and Co’s tail.
Hamilton, despite his best efforts, could only manage to finish which could’ve been worse if there were more laps remaining in the race. Mercedes was just not up to the task in Japan despite Suzuka being a favorable track for the Brackley outfit. So speaking after the race, Lewis made a gloomy admission as revealed by Twiter (now X) user @fiagirly.

He said, “You’ve seen what the McLarens did, by going down the Red Bull route, they’re now ahead of us on a track like this.”

This is an extremely gloomy admission, especially after his best efforts to get his team back on track and his efforts to fight for the eighth championship back on track. This is a gloomy admission especially because he sat down with the entire team before his contract extension and he was promised a better output moving forward.

However, that hasn’t been the case so far and the LH army believes it’s because of one reason.
The LH army makes serious accusations toward Toto Wolff and Co. after Lewis Hamilton made the gloomy admission
Lewis Hamilton’s fans are longing to see their champion on the top step of the podium. Hamilton and his stans are definitely not enjoying this wait and Wolff and Co. are facing the brunt of it. Mercedes deliberately not taking the Red Bull route, like most teams have, for better performance is highlighting their arrogance according to some.
Mercedes are too arrogant to follow anyone, which has been their biggest mistake. Engineers need to eat some humble pie, listen to Lewis, and follow McLaren.

Some fans even held the chief engineers accountable and put a lot of pressure on the current man in charge.
Honestly Mike Elliot and the technical team have an awful lot to answer for not changing concept last winter when it was obvious to pretty much all of us that they needed to. Just hoping James Allison is driving that team down the right path 🤞🏼

Fans are also pointing out how Hamilton has gone public and there is still no progress is absolutely disgraceful.
The mere fact he's gone public with this suggests the team aren't following & the changes that he wants are not being followed through!!!
