When the world came to know that Daniel Ricciardo was going to team-up alongside Lando Norris at McLaren, the first impressions were that the two were going to ignite a laugh-riot. The two are currently one of the most hilarious drivers on the F1 grid.
Hence, people claimed that the pairing was going to be incredible, with both the drivers possessing cheeky personalities. However, it looks like things are not falling in favor of the expectations set by the fans.
The Honey Badger was pretty vocal about what the fans can expect from the duo of McLaren drivers over the upcoming F1 season.

What did Ricciardo say?
Speaking to SkySport, Ricciardo clarified that he is going to the British team “for business” and not for entertaining the fans with “comedy shows.”
“It’s something I want to reiterate to everyone watching and every fan of McLaren in particular,” he said. “It’s not going to be a comedy show.
“I’m going there for business, I’m going there to improve the car.”
Prior to Ricciardo, McLaren had two contrasting drivers, Norris and Sainz. However, despite the differing characters, the two hit it off and generated massive amounts of laughable moments in a span of two years.
Now, the fans have rested similar faith over Ricciardo, who is all set to replace the now Ferrari driver, Sainz. Of course, it is impossible to witness the two drivers compete in the sport with serious intentions. However, it looks Ricciardo is just dragging his cheekiness down a notch.
