A crash is an expensive affair for any Formula 1 team and replacing each part can add up the costs, especially for a financially struggling team like Haas. And Schumacher’s recent Monaco Grand Prix crash will feel heavy on Haas’ pockets.

Nothing seems to be going right for Mick Schumacher

This crash will hurt the team in more than one way, especially after the reduction of the budget cap. Soon replacing parts of their VF-22 will become a concern for the American team as it will warrant a penalty. So far, Schumacher has cost Haas a whopping 3.27 million dollars in repairs, the highest of any constructor on the grid.

And if young Schumacher’s Instagram story is any proof, he can’t seem to catch a break. Probably walking his concerns off, the German took a stroll, but the rain even interrupted his walk. It seems wherever the German is, bad luck is following him. He posted a story of himself drenched in during the heavy downpour with a caption, “Go for a walk they said, it would be nice they said!”

Struck with some terrible luck, the Monaco crash was the young Schumacher’s third of the season. The heavy crashes in Saudi Arabian GP qualifying and one with Sebastian Vettel in Miami make the other two. Schumacher needs to stop this soon as it is not pleasing anyone, especially the Haas hierarchy.

Word of caution from one Schumacher to the other

Ralf Schumacher, the uncle of Mick Schumacher, has used his racing experience to warn his nephew. The racer-turned journalist commented on his nephew’s crash in Monaco. “The failure in the race was his fault,” before adding, “Others drove past this point without any problems, but not him. He got onto the wet and that’s a mistake you can’t afford to make. That is punished mercilessly, as you have seen.” (Translated by Google)

A mistake leading to a crash has become a trend for the young Schumacher. Another blemish on his below-average F1 CV, something Mick Schumacher cannot afford.
