Lewis Hamilton was recently appreciated by Sam Michael for accepting his mistakes and learning from them. Lando Norris was seen in a similar position after the Monaco GP. However, it wasn’t really his mistake. The Briton’s heartfelt apology to his team received sympathy from the fans as they supported Lando Norris through this tough moment while calling Charles Leclerc out. What exactly happened and what did the fans say?
McLaren turned up to the Monaco GP qualifying with everything they had got. The Papaya team seemed to have forgotten the woes as Oscar Piastri just missed out on Q3 and will be starting P11. Lando Norris managed to make it to Q3 but will be starting P10. This performance is a major improvement from the previous races. Nevertheless, it wasn’t a session without worries as Lando Norris hit the barrier toward the end of his Q2 run.
The Briton had to come in for some repairs as he banged the front right quite hard as he under-steered the car coming out of Tabac. He managed to nurse the car into the pits and the mechanics did a wonderful job fixing the car for Q3. However, things were about to go against Norris once again. On his only run in Q3 to make the weekend even better for McLaren, the Briton was blocked by Charles Leclerc in the tunnel section, which ruined Lando Norris’ only attempt in Q3.
