Lewis Hamilton and Fernando Alonso are two of the best drivers on the grid these days. Despite the fact that they have deep rivalries, there’s no denying that both of them can have their day when their time is right. However, this time in Mexico, Hamilton’s time was right and Alonso’s was the exact opposite, as fans react to this situation.

Hamilton, who finished the race in P2 behind Max Verstappen, saw his competitor from McLaren days end his race in DNF. As the race concluded, the three drivers, Verstappen, Hamilton, and Perez, went to the cooldown room and that was when the Mercedes driver was spotted staring at the Alpine driver’s DNF moment.

This comes right after the controversial comments from Alonso where he undermined Hamilton’s titles. In return, the Briton posted a photo of them from the McLaren days where Lewis was P1 at the 2007 United States GP podium and Alonso was P2. Ultimately, the Spaniard had to open up again to calm things down.

The cooldown footage showed Lewis Hamilton staring at the distraught Alpine driver when he had yet another engine issue. This is one of several times the Spaniard has suffered from a situation like this.

It was a decent race for the Briton, who started the race from P3 and finished a place ahead. As for Alonso, he lost yet another chance to pick up valuable points after starting from P9.
