Lewis Hamilton is a force to be reckoned with. While, despite not having a great qualifying session, the man tried to turn it around. The Briton, who struggled to get through qualifying in Q1 for the first time since 2017, sadly could only manage P10.

To the champ’s credit, he did get to P6 with a lot of hard work and overtaking. However, a strategy mess up forced lewis to stay out of the pits till the very last laps of the race. As Daniel Ricciardo and Fernando Alonso struggled through the pit lane, Lewis couldn’t make it into the pits due to the Virtual Safety Car.

Well, if the seven-time world champion had indeed managed to change the tires, he would’ve possibly made it to the top 5. But sadly, luck wasn’t on Lewis’s side, as he could only manage P10. The talented driver has had to face some shocking results, as his car constantly struggles with endless issues.

Lewis’s companion Bono was on the radio, as always, to support him and inform him. Lewis, understandably shocked, was left dumbfounded.

However, his teammate George Russell managed a brilliant P5 and was committed to defending it. Mercedes F1 usually never dabbles in these midfield positions, and they need to make a quick comeback to the top. Their rivals are far ahead of them on pace and points. If the Silver Arrows keep racing like this, they might be out of the championship contention after all.

While Hamilton did manage a podium in the previous race, he cannot manage it every time with W13. Lewis started P15 and managed his way into the top 10, and the team cannot be making the mistakes they did. The driver started on Hard tires and kept running them till almost Lap 40, which proved to be fatal for Hamilton’s hard-fought position.
