Daniel Ricciardo might just stay in Formula 1! On top of that, the Australian driver might possibly go back to his old team Red Bull!! Yes, this is how the excitement jumped in for the fans when Ted Kravitz, an F1 commentator hinted at Ricciardo’s future as the reserve driver at red Bull rather than Mercedes.

Interestingly, Kravitz didn’t solidify Ricciardo’s Red Bull move. The British commentator, however, made sure the McLaren driver will not move to Mercedes next season. As Kravitz said this on the live qualifying rounds, fans flocked to Twitter with their reactions.

Formula 1 is in the United States for the second time this year. After the inaugural Miami Grand Prix earlier this season, the premium form of motorsport is once again in the North American country for the US Grand Prix at Austin, Texas.

Red Bull Racing, the team that has been home to the man from Land Down Under for quite some years, can take the Australian back. With Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez already as their main drivers, there is a chance for Ricciardo there as a reserve driver.

The Honey Badger, however, had a disappointing qualifying session on Saturday. Having failed to move to Q2, Ricciardo finished his session in P17. It’ll be interesting to see if the Australian will be able to make some amends tomorrow.
