Lego, the world’s leading toy brand, is all set to give the iconic brick treatment to the 2021 Mercedes F1 car with an exciting price point. This will mark the latest release in Lego’s highly awaited ‘speed champions’ series. Back in June 2021, the brand announced six new sets as a part of this series. It included multiple racing cars from McLaren, Toyota, Ford, and others.
However, the company has sent a wave of excitement with its latest announcement. Fans are aware that Lego and F1 are a recipe for something epic, as they have seen in the past as well. The model they choose to replicate, or as many would say, “brick-licate” is the 2021 constructors’ championship-winning car.

Lewis Hamilton took the Mercedes W-12 to victory on 8 occasions. Meanwhile, Valtteri Bottas added another win to take the tally to 9 for the men from Brackley. Apart from that, the two exceptional drivers amassed a total of 28 podium finishes as well. This performance earned Mercedes their 8th consecutive constructors’ title, after a head-on fight with Red Bull.

Lego has revolutionized the brick toy-making space and has been at the forefront of innovation for over 7 decades. The Danish company is one of the largest toy-making companies in the world, with its products being sold in every part of the world. In the all-new Mercedes Lego set, fans of Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas will get the best of both worlds, being able to swap the car between the two drivers. The two mini-figures also allow you to switch between being a driver and mechanic, each with their very own helmet, wig, and wrench.
Notably, this is not the first instance when Lego is releasing an F1 car set. In the early 2010s, the company tried its hands on McLaren, Ferrari, and Mercedes cars. In another unique feature, buyers will get two for the price of one. This latest set also gives them the opportunity to build the Mercedes-AMG Project One, a limited edition hybrid sports car using F1-derived technology.
